Running 655km for the Takayna Rainforest

We are proud to support Giles & Matt, two amateur trail runners as they take on a 650+ km traverse of the Australian wilderness. Passing through three different states, their route, infamously known as the Australian Alps Walking Track (AAWT), will take them through pristine nature and is set to challenge us beyond measure.

With a camera and support crew, they will be documenting the journey:

​1. To raise awareness of the beauty of Australia's wilderness and the need to protect it, and to inspire a greater care for our planet.

​​2. To raise funds for The Bob Brown Foundation, a non-profit critically fighting to preserve takayna / the Tarkine - a Tasmanian rain forest of exceptional beauty and conservation value which is in extreme danger of total destruction through logging and mining.

To celebrate their achievement we look forward to sharing their film and experience with our Salomon community in early 2022 - stay tuned.
