    Useless

    This shoe is useless. There is a fault in the design at the back of the shoe. As you walk on a wet surface water flicks up to wet the inner ankle area of the opposite foot. So your feet stay nice and dry due to the goretex but the sock covering your inner ankle gets saturated. I’ve never encountered this problem with a shoe before. Salomon customer service was useless. Went and bought Mizuno goretex shoes - much better. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of these shoes. After my experience with their customer service team I would never buy this brand again.

    Great option for flat/long distance hikes

    As a longtime Salomon X Ultra GTX lover, I bought these for a summer long distance option. The rocker/reverse camber does provide a nice sense of moment as advertised. After 75km of hiking, am overall happy with purchase, but do wish they were made in a wide as suffered some light blistering on outsides of big toe which I dont in the wide X Ultras.

    Great foot support

    I love the pair for the stability it provides for long walks in Rome during my holiday. I also like the grip it provides. Best 4WDrive of shoes
