  3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
  4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
  5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.

    Don't expect longevity from these shoes

    After less than 6 months of wear, the shoes are falling apart at the toes (glue issue) and the back foam is completely gone. I've had budget shoes last longer than these. Very poor for the cost.

    My Second Pair !

    If they are as comfortable as my first pair, I'll be buying a third pair! Have worn in various conditions and they have not let me down. Despite being put through their paces they are easy to keep clean and presentable - and when they are really mucky they withstand the occasional refresh in the washing machine !

    I recommend this product

    Good shoe, misleading sizing & poor customer service

    I ordered the Outrise GTX after having a pair of the Outline GTX shoes that had served me well. I ordered the same US9 size but found that the Outrise is a much bigger shoe and was too too big for me. After speaking with Salomon Australia they informed me that, they only offer a return service and refund and that I couldn't just exchange them for the smaller size. As I had bought them on sale, they couldn't give me the same sale price, so I just returned the shoes for a refund. I felt disappointed that there was no attempt to help resolve the situation and offer the same price from the original purchase which was only 3 days prior. Good shoes, poor customer service.
