Speedcross 6

I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable trainers I have ever worn, and I love the speed lacing. My only criticism is that I tend to run through them, as the sole is very soft and better used on softer terrain. On hard ground or road, they run out. But they are a great shoe.

Great shoe, different

Speedcross don't fit the same as other shoes, so need a different approach to fitting. The lace system is a little tricky to get perfect but when dialled in, it will hold your foot very solidly in place, which means you can get away with less room in front of the toes. It's almost like wearing a very supportive sock. I am between a US 12 and 13 and can get away (so far) with the 12 in the speedcross. The 13 was too sloppy. They really cup the foot, rather than it feeling like your foot is sitting on a flat foot bed. Arches are a bit on the high side but mine are breaking in enough for my flat-ish feet. Over all I like them but I think US 12.5 would be better as they would just be a tiny bit more roomy for my feet. When can we get the US 12.5 in Australia?

Great shoes

This is my fourth or fifth set of these shoes. They’re comfortable, fit perfectly, have great grip when bush walking and have great shock absorption when jogging/trail running. Only criticism is they wear quickly. I get 4-5 months tops out of a pair (less than half what I get with other Salomon models like XA pro 3D). Still, I keep going back for them.
