I use my Speedcross for commuting and are perfect for use with my spiked platform pedals as the tread grips nicely with the spikes and stops the shoes from slipping off while riding.
AustraliaThis shoe does not wear well
I was excited about this shoe because it looks good which means it’s aesthetically versatile which means I can wear it for long periods of the day. It wasn’t bought for hiking but lots of walking and dancing. I’ve been wearing this shoe for just over a year now and it has now worn well for me. My current issues are that, extended use (2+ hours) almost always results in knee pain. I don’t experience this with any other shoe I own. The contragrip seems cool but I don’t think my footprint/step works well with it since the wear and tear is in very specific areas, which later on become an issue because it leads to uneven footing every time now. The platform feels very harsh and stiff as well. It felt comfortable at the start which is why I bought it but just didn’t hold up the more I wore it. This is a shame because it is my best looking shoe and people complement me on it but I have to be honest with them and not recommend it.

- Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
- Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
- Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.
