What does women-specific really mean? For us, it’s a shoe that is fully adapted to the morphology of your feet: a softer cuff, cradling anatomical design and lower density ADV-C Chassis for greater stability. In this mid-cut GORE-TEX version of the X-ULTRA 4, all this is backed up by waterproof protection and a grippy outsole that powers through uphills and descents, so you can explore every angle of your freedom.

    So Comfortable

    I bought the X Ultra 4 Mid GTX W when I was travelling this year. As soon as I put them on they were so comfortable. I wore them out of the shop. For the next 2 months of my trip, walking over rough terrain, in the sand and over rocks I felt comfortable and secure. No issues whatsoever. I lived in them the whole time we were away. These would be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Very impressed with them.

    Woeful Quality

    I purchased a pair of these from Kathmandu in February '24. First pair i returned as the lace holder up the top was in a different place on one boot to the other making it very uncomfortable on my ankle on one foot. Second pair have cracked accross the toe area after 3 months. Not what i expect from a $370 pair of shoes! I find them extremely comfortable but the quality one the two pairs i have had is terrible.

    The best!

    I got these boots for a 4 day camping trek and they were incredible! Didn't even need to wear them in, they were comfy straight away and I didn't get a single blister even though I was walking 12km minimum a day. Very water proof too!

    Fantastic boots

    I recently purchased these boots for a hiking trip to Carnarvon Gorge National Park. I didn't break them in beforehand but had no trouble whatsoever. Even after a massive 27km hike involving some unstable surfaces, I didn't get any blisters. I would highly recommend these boots and would definitely buy them again!
