    Misleading returns policy, don't buy

    Would not buy from Salomon ever again. They sneakily updated their returns policy without any indication on the listing and refused to return/refund the item. Disgraceful way to treat customers.

    Comfortable and sturdy

    Perfect fit with plenty of room for my wide feet with toe socks and hikers wool to prevent toe bang. Note, I went 1 size up as advised for hiking shoes.

    So far so good

    Have only done a couple of short walks but very comfortable and no rubbing or blisters. I didn’t think I needed the wide fit but my toes are loving it!

    X Ultra 4 mid wide GTX women’s - light blue

    after having 2 previous pairs of the same make Salomon’s but in the darker colour and very happy with them , I ordered online the blue ones as the other dark one was not available anywhere! They were 1/2 price and I understand why- the inner stitching of the top of the shoe was very hard and digging into my left top part of foot. I persevered for the first walk and thought it may have softened a bit for the next walk but had to turn back and put on the old Salomon’s. As I had a big multi day walk coming up and didn’t have time to take them to a boot maker to help resolve problem I went out and bought some Merrells. Am very disappointed also that Salomon has appeared to stop making the wide GTX Ultra 4 .
