Another pair of Salomon hiking shoes

Haven’t worn them yet but they’re around my 10th pair. I know I’m getting quality and stability.

Great Shoes

They are absolutely great. I have a sprain ankle and these give extra support around my arch and as such do help with my injury. Could not recommend them highly enough

Best hiking shoe for Western Australia conditions

This is my third pair of this model. Had to buy on line as Anaconda only stock goretex shoes which are too warm for Bibblumen track (thru hiking or section hiking esp) and probably most of Australia except winter. These dry out super fast if you do get them wet if you change inner soles and socks whereas “waterproof” shoes/boots take days to dry meaning you walk with wet feet. They are a very stable and solid feeling shoe with some arch support which is great. The speed lace thingy is fantastic for small shoe adjustments. You can literally tighten shoes for a steep downhill and then loosen after. Previously had black but thought go for lighter colour this time, but think black looks sharper for use as a casual shoe. So please Salomon, never delete these, and stop pushing goretex, it’s the shoe equivalent of diesel- stinky and bad for the environment. N. Penning, Perth Australia
