Great shoes, so comfortable and sturdy.

Have recommended these to many people I know which foot issues- they have been a game changer. I know they are supposed to be a technical shoe, but they are also great for injury or chronic issues. I'm using them during recovery from knee surgery and they have really helped my return to walking and correcting my gait.

Sad to see the design has changed

I've been a dedicated XA Pro User for the last 5 years. Wore them on the PCT and hiked all over Australia/Tasmania in them. For the very first time ever I got a blister. I did a side by side comparison with my old pair and found that the lacing points are no longer covered with a fabric on the inside causing rubbing against the sharp/hard plastic. They also feel overall cheaper especially the sole which has also changed. I'm guessing these changes are cost cutting measures which is sad to see on what used to be great all-round shoe. After being loyal for over 4 years I guess it's time for me to move on.

Beautiful grip and comfort

These are my third Salomons and I wanted a pair with extra grip for trail walking downhill on stony patches. These are the best so far - the extra grip is terrific and the shoes are thoughtfully made and comfortable to wear. I got them on sale too, as a bonus. Very happy.
