JISOO STEPS "OUT IN THE OPEN" WITH SALOMON

Set in Seoul, South Korea, IN THE OPEN explores the relationship between urban life and the natural world, moving through environments JISOO gravitates toward in her everyday life: parks, trails, and quieter corners of the city. A city after rainfall. A street softened by fog. An open space shaped by wind. Concrete meeting forest. Each scene reveals winter not as a single landscape, but as a series of shifting conditions.

“I naturally prefer light and comfortable movement in my everyday life, so I feel that Salomon is a great fit for me because it provides comfort regardless of the weather or environment. I love how versatile Salomon footwear is, making it suitable for both everyday wear and outdoor activities,” says JISOO. “It was a pleasure to experience and explore the winter season collection through my first global campaign with Salomon.”

Heikki Salonen, Creative Director of Salomon, shares the thinking behind the campaign: “With IN THE OPEN, we wanted to show winter across the different environments people experience every day, from the city to the outdoors. That’s something Salomon has always excelled at, creating products that perform across changing conditions without compromising on design. Seoul provided a meaningful canvas to explore this narrative, grounding the collection in settings that resonate with JISOO's life and demonstrating the fluidity with how she navigates these diverse landscapes.”
